I'm not a coach who used to teach. I'm a certified 20 year veteran teacher and Dyslexia Practitioner who also coaches. I know what's on your desk right now because I have the same things on mine. What I teach is what I use — today, in real time, with real students. I have worked with an extensive array of students from all backgrounds and learning disabilities, amongst multiple grade levels. My classroom is always filled to the brim with students who are eager to try something new, even if it might be hard, because I immediately dive in and the time to build a strong rapport and one of the most important components needed for any child to succeed---CONFIDENCE.
